Our Story
Tucked behind the majestic oak, beautiful maples and wedged between two lakes, sits Copper Bowl Ranch. If you listen, during the warm summer months, you can hear the loons wistful call as the sun begins to nestle behind the trees echoing across the cool, crisp waters.
Sunrises illuminate the gorgeous landscape and reveal all this 80 acre Equestrian farm has to offer. There are four paddocks where rescue horses graze the pastures peacefully and reflect the spirit and heart of this property. A place to reset, restore and renew. To reclaim what life has to offer in whatever state we are in. This is a place that welcomes you to explore life, make it your own and to come, be a part.

Why the Name,
“Copper Bowl Ranch?”
During the summer, we have a tradition of gathering around our fire pit. We sit with friends and family and take time to reflect and remember our moments together, making new memories and enjoying our traditions. During our annual 4th of July celebration, we suggested a name that Ranch contest. It was then that Copper Bowl was born. Copper being a transitional metal known for producing energy and bringing balance. It felt like the perfect name for this property.
When we purchased the property it was winter, cold and during a blizzard. It was the horse barn that drew me in. I felt something special in that barn, and left feeling that I had found a place that offered healing and a new chapter in life and that if I accepted that challenge with arms wide open, life would never be the same.
It was not until spring when we were able to walk the property and see just how beautiful it was and were reminded of our desire to create a life that we didn’t need a vacation from. We realized we had been provided an opportunity to embrace and create a place where guests could come and also enjoy this and share moments with friends, family and co-workers and use Copper Bowl Ranch as the setting for your stories, events and experiences.

…to do justice, to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God…Micah 6:8

Ranch Life
In the spring of 2021, in the midst of Covid we began the journey of restoring this property. Family members came and cleared trails that had been long overgrown. Many helped us reclaim this property and give it a new look and yet compliment and enhance all that the previous owner had set out to do.

Our first ranch hand Chris became a big part of this journey as he took on the projects handed him with enthusiasm and gusto. Cody, our second hire came to us with a desire to work outside. Although his background is in electronics and computers, he was ready for a change. He fits right in, committed to the growth and direction of the Ranch. We are thankful for both Cody and Chris.
In the buildings, we strive to create an atmosphere of rustic warmth, welcoming those who entered. Our goal is to make our guests feel welcome in a warm, friendly, accessible environment. We have created multiple areas where families, groups or businesses can have rustic and unique outdoor experiences either that you create, or allow us to create it for you.

What We Offer
Together, the owners bring a diverse background of experience and entrepreneurship in successful businesses that prepared them for the challenge of restoring and building a unique setting that can be enjoyed by all who visit. The inspiration for the property comes from their desire to share its beauty and peaceful setting with a mindset to welcome those who come with “arms wide open” and allow them to experience all that the property offers.
